Author Name    Hemingway, Ernest

Title   A Farewell to Arms (With Scenes from the Paramount Production with Helen Hayes and Gary Cooper)

   Hardcover

Book Condition   Very Good+ in Good dust jacket

Publisher   New York Grosset & Dunlap 1929

Seller ID   27061

Hardcover with dust jacket, 355 pages plus publisher's ads at end, photos from the movie on all endpapers. Seventh printing in November of 1929. Clean inside, pages uniformly browned around edges as normal for G&P's reprint books. Fore edge a little foxed, small separation of text at binding on bottom edge. Red cloth covers with black title on front and spine are exceptionally bright; two small light water spots on front panel, spine ends lightly rubbed, tips square. DJ has generally tanned/soiled overall and the spine is sunned, leaving the red title barely readable, although author and publisher in black are NOT bleached out. It is heavily rubbed along folds, particularly along the spine on front panel; there are small gaps at top and bottom of spine and tips. Scans upon request. Overall the book is VG+/Good.
