Sugiyama) Tokyo Kairyudo Hardcover with dust jacket, (no date) Japanese edition printed on a lightweight paper which has uniform tanning, text in English. Frontis; tax stamp and publication info in Japanese at back. Clean inside, small split in pageblock between frontis and title page. Red cloth covers have light moisture exposure which has caused red tint to run onto boards on inside back cover and bleached out tips of covers to pale pink (all covered by dj). Dust jacket is fragile, has green picture on front and is printed on light tan paper, which has darkened a bit on spine. Dj has general edgewear, has appx 1/2" gaps at spine ends and 1/4"hole near middle of spine (is protected in Brodart). Overall the book is VG-/Good. Price: 25.00 USD

McKay Co 1977 First American Edition Schmid, Eleonore Hardcover with dust jacket, 88 pages with wonderful illustrations and maps throughout including such items as sailors' knots, a cross-section of the Hispaniola, a roster of its crew, navigational instruments and much more. 7-1/2" X 10" in size, this copy has bright yellow cloth covers with gold skull and crossbones on front and a gold title on spine; the dj is mustard color paper printed in red and black. A lovely copy with no owner markings, but scuff on bottom edge of front board from rough shelving; very light wear at top edge of dj; overall VG/Near Fine condition. Price: 17.00 USD
