Attractive hardcover, 387 pages. Title continues: "...with observations upon things seen and suggested." Has eight plates in color (including frontis with tissue), made from drawings by the author, and 78 other illustrations. Gold top edge. Book in wonderful condition inside, no markings or book plates, etc., binding still tight. Grey-green cloth covers have gold and dark green illustrations, and show just light aging. Gold title and decorations on spine still bright, although spine just a bit sunned and mottled, very light rubbing (no fraying) at top; hint of bumping to bottom tips. Nice, overall near VG+ condition. (no DJ, as issued)
