Hardcover, 463 pages plus publisher's ads at back. Title continues: "...from Greece, Turkey, Egypt, Nubia, and the Holy Land." Book has engraved frontis of author (with tissue) at front), and many two-color engravings throughout text. Clean of owner markings to interior; book seller's stamp and light soiling on several pages at front. Pages opposite the engravings have foxed blocks from contact with engravings. Page block very tight and hinges are solid. Covers are dark green pebbled cloth; there is bright copper colored image on the front covers. The gilt title on the spine is a bit sunned and the spine ends and tips are rubbed. Overall a solid, Very Good copy.
