NY Charles Scribners' Sons 1885 Hardcover Very Good
Hardcover, 411 pages, volume one only of a two-volume set. Includes fold-out maps at both front and back. Stated Third American Edition. Clean inside, no owner names or underlining. Pages lightly aged, as are edges of page block. Green cloth binding has gold title on spine, which is a bit dulled. Spine endps rubbed and bottom tips lightly bumped. Small number on tanned label at bottom of spine (NOT x-library, but probably from a previous collector's library). Surfaces of maps are in lovely condition; back one has peeked our from page block and has a 1-inch tear at exposed fold. Overall this volume is in Very Good condition; maps NeVG+ or better.
