Hardcover, 309 pages plus ad for Dr. Clark Johnson's Indian Blood Syrup at back. This is the second printing. Includes eight engraved plates (including frontis). This is a beautifully re-bound x-library copy, with very minimal library markings. The interior pages are lightly foxed throughout but show no fraying, chipping or other damage; the plates are deeply, uniformly tanned, with no damage or chipping. The binding is rust cloth, and includes an attractive title paste-on on the spine (plus the obligatory spine number paste-on). The covers are bright and clean, tips very lightly rubbed. This is a very nice copy, ready for many additional years of study and reading. Interior VG or better; covers Fine.
