Hardcover, SIGNED "Geo. Peery, Governor" on half-title page, copy no. 393 of 2000 copies. George C. Peery was governor of Virginia from 1934 to 1938. This book was compiled for him by his aide Colonel E. Griffith Dodson. Pages are bright and clean, elegantly printed on deckle-edge paper. State seal is very bright on front cover, the book has just light traces of wear at spine ends with a slight amount of browning to spine, otherwise NEAR FINE.
