Hardcover in dust jacket, xiv, 93 p., 147 illus., size 30 cm. An ex-library copy with the usual markings and flaps of d.j. glued to endpapers, but showing only gentle and limited use (d.j. is bright from having been in a mylar protector that has been removed). Card from card catalogue (remember the card catalogue?) used as pocket, extra card laid in. Frontispiece in color. Text section is 93 pages, printed by letterpress. Illustrated section has 146 plates in black & white. No user markings, although one page reflects the former presence of a paper clip, which has been carefully removed. The d.j. has a few small tears at top of spine. A solid copy, even given its library provenance, VG/VG-.
