1 Jannings, Emil; Norman Burnstine (Story by) Adolph Zukor and Jesse L. Lasky Present Emil Jannings in "Sins of the Fathers": Thematic Music Cue Sheet
NY Cameo Music Service Corp. 1928 Paperback Very Good-
Single sheet, folded once, with an additional sheet included for a total of 6 pages. The Paramount Pictures logo is given twice on the first page. This is the Thematic Music Cue Sheet that includes 50 segments, each consisting of one or more lines of music, to give the piano player at a silent movie the theme for each of the 50 sections of the movie. This item was actually used, with many notations in pencil. There appears to be some combining of scenes by the piano player and some renumbering. Some titles written in pencil are not the same as the printed titles, indicating that the piano player had a different idea of what was to be played. Normally marginal notations are annyoing defects, but here they indicate how the music was played at an actual showing of the movie. An authentic piece of Hollywood history! VG-. ; 9.6" X 12.25"; 6 pages
