Smaller format book with flexible red cloth covers, 224 pages plus many ads at both front and back. Four fold out maps in perfect condition. All edges are tinted red. There are many photo and illustrated plates throughout the text, and the ads are primarily for hotels and transportation to vacation spots throughout the region. Arranged according to areas, such as New York to Albany, Catskill to Hudson, etc. Inside has no writing or previous owner markings; inside front cover has ad for the Astor Hotel, back cover for the Louisville & Nashville RR. Back cover has light moisture exposure which has bleached fabric and seeped thru to free rear endpaper (no odors) and puckered endpapers just a bit, light age-soiling to covers and minor bumping to top corner and spine ends, else overall a sturdy, VG copy.
