Hardcover with brown cloth boards decorated in black in gold. A Salesman's Sample, theis book has the table of contents, excerpts from various chapters, numberous illustrations, two-page ad for the book, and lined order pages at the back (the first two pages filled out in pencil: the cloth edition was $1.50, the half-leather was $2.00). Otherwise the interior is clean, endpapers tanned. The covers are clean, the gilt on the front is partially dulled, but undamaged; the edges of the outside hinges and spine ends are rubbed; the spine artwork is imprinted onto the back cover. Overall this is a VG copy.
