Two volumes, top edge gilt, decorated cloth bindings in the scarce cloth (not paper) dust jackets. The book decoration uses floral designs on teal cloth; both volumes have been splendidly protected by the d.j.s. A little browning and slight cracking to endpapers make the books VG+. Pages are bright; foldout map on volume 2 may have an extra crease applied, but the creases are neat and tidy. The cloth d.j.'s do not have the decorated designs of the book covers; just title and publisher on the spine. Fascinating, though, as an example of an early dust jacket. VG+/VG+.
