Atkey, Bertram Smiler Bunn, Gentleman-Adventurer NY The Dial Press 1926 First American Edition Hardcover VG- Hardcover, 296 pages. Together wtih his "pal," ex-Lord Fortworth and his faithful servant Sing Song, the experienced Smiler - genial, wily and fat - makes his living off society in a manner always devious and sometimes dark, but never mean. Smiler was first intorduced to readers in Atkey's previous book, The Man With Yellow Eyes. This is a solid copy (lacking dust jacket), with just a hint of soiling inside, previous owner name on front free endpaper. Grayish-green covers are generally aged/soiled and spine ends starting to wear a bit. Tips strong but lightly rubbed. Overall a VG inside, VG- on covers. Price:
